Oahu continued...

resting turtle in front of the beach house, looking east toward Waimea. Snorkeling with them was amazing, a sacred and pre-historic experience. The first time swimming with them I had the sense that they were really checking me out. After satisfying their curiousity they let me swim with them. Our last day we saw the biggest one hanging out under a coral formation. His shell must have been 5 feet. photo by todd

  1. Lovely work. I love how you pick up the vibrant colors in everyday scenes. Those images really resonate with me. And I am amazed (and I am sure you noticed) that the pattern in the turtle tracks is a dead ringer for the patterns in some of your recent artwork-- must have been something of an a-ha moment for you to see it. I am so happy for you and Angie-- I talked to Alex on Friday at the gallery :)

    Happy traveling!
